Leslie Lopp, LPC



Leslie Lopp is excited to be a part of Atlanta Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Associates.

She is a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience working in the field of therapy and education with children and adults. She has extensive experience as a clinical and educational consultant for children that learn differently.

Her areas of interest include depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, life transitions, trauma, stress management, ADHD and children that learn differently. Leslie’s therapeutic approach incorporates humanistic and cognitive-behavioral therapies. 

She utilizes a combination of cognitive, mindfulness and hypnotherapy techniques to assist her clients in identifying how thoughts, feelings, and beliefs influence their behaviors in a non-judgmental, empathetic and open approach. 

With a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the of Georgia, and a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Hunter College Leslie has served as a part of the AMIT Early Intervention Taskforce and a part of the development of Baken Atlanta Jewish Mental Health Initiative.   Leslie has also been a presenter on the topic of Self Care When Someone You Love is Mentally Ill.  Leslie is a member of LPCGA.

Leslie lives in Atlanta with her husband, two daughters, and three dogs.
